This is a favorite ride for CCBR members traveling through the verdant green (hopefully) coastal hills of the Salinas and Carmel Valleys, bordered by the vast open fields of wildflowers (hopefully) or vegetables (depending on where you look). The ride will take us from Hollister on Highway 25 to King City Road (G13), King City to Highway 101 to Greenfield to pick up G16 to Arroyo Seco and into Carmel Valley Road. Lunch at the Baja Cantina & Grill. The route is approximately 145 miles in length to the lunch stop. Return on your own schedule—lots of great routes back home.
Some of the East Bay folks are meeting at 7 am at Philz Coffee (1103 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek) to ride over to Hollister.
