Bitcoin & Brews: An informal weekly get-together

Weekly informal event. "Coworkers after work at the bar" type event. May be best suited for mature(r) audiences - use your best judgement.

Meet around 6pm. Some may come early. No end time; stay until close if you like. Cut out anytime. I, the organizer, may not stay the entire time.

This a time for friendships, networking, deals, finding cofounders, discussing that crazy twitter FUD, etc. If you want to have a heated debate (see rule 3 below) on , this is the event for that.

Our monthly events will be transitioning to more formal presentation-style and/or round-table, panel-style events this summer as venues open up (fingers crossed).

Rules & Notes:

1. Drink Responsibly - This meetup and it's organizers aren't responsible for your actions. Attendees are asked to do their best to assist others.
2. No trade of cryptocurrency for dollars during the time and place of the event between attendees. Trading node connection details, opening Lightning channels, etc is fine, but no cash. If you purchase a drink/food item for another attendee in return for digital payment, the amounts of the purchase and the trade must match. This is a self enforced rule. Don't get the group in trouble for your actions.
3. No physical violence or threats. Keep it civil. Intelligent debate attracts people and strengthens your case.

Please be a patron to the host venue. Please follow their COVID-related rules.

Of course, with every event, those interested in the PGP Web of Trust are welcome to bring their keys to be signed by others. We may have more formal key signing parties in the (near) future.
