M Trail Loop

The M Trail Loop starts and ends at the Fernandez Road parking lot, taking you through the Charies A. and Mary R. Maino Open Space and Cerro San Luis Natural Reserve.The trail is well-maintained, with boardwalks, benches, and lookouts offering views of San Luis Obispo. During the spring, you'll encounter beautiful wildflowers and butterflies.

Be prepared for steep, narrow sections with rocks—sturdy footwear is recommended, as some parts can be slippery.
