Hello all,

The date and time for our next meetup is set -- Thursday, April 3, from 6-8pm. The venue is Winter Hall 206 at Westmont College. You can park for free in the lot across the street (near the baseball field). Directions to the campus and a campus map are here:

The theme for this meeting will be "Productivity Tips and Tricks in R."

We'll have pizza and soft drinks for everyone.

We already have 3 speakers, but we'd love to have more. I'd like the format for at least part of this meetup to be lightning talks -- 5 minutes or so. Thus, the hurdle for participation is pretty low! I'll give a lighting talk on the importance of vectorization and allocating space before running loops.

Anything to do with productivity would be fair game for a presentation -- a favorite package that makes your work more efficient, a tip to speed up a script file, etc. If you have anything like that you'd like to present, please let me know.

Thanks!

Garrett
