Let's talk about growing and sustaining communities that support open science and open source software. These projects are fueled by people dedicating their time to create shared resources. Each community is different, having its own goals and characteristics, but we can learn a lot about improving the effectiveness of our own community based on the experiences of others. Curtis will focus his talk on the experience RStudio has had building communities online and in preparation for rstudio::global, but we will save a large set of time for discussion of your own.
