What we’re about
Square Dancing is the best thing since sliced bread! Put away your bias about 4th grade and give it a try :) We have a wonderful dance community with a variety of ages and we have a blast. There are three local square dance clubs near Central Connecticut (Enfield, Glastonbury, and Farmington) who are all starting fall lessons soon. Each club has 1-2 free nights for you to explore the joy of square dancing at no obligation.
Each club has weekly lessons from roughly October to May. These lessons are cumulative, so you will want to attend every week as much as possible. Bill Mager is our fabulous teacher and began calling square dancing as a teen. We enjoy modern music, no special clothes are required, only a willing attitude to learn! If you can walk a straight line and can follow directions, you will succeed. Please bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle.
Singles and couples are welcome, older children are free with a supervising adult. Come join us, you won't regret it! See the individual clubs websites and flyers for more information.
