About us
We are a grassroots group that promotes Democracy by connecting people to resources, events, and organizations. We post events by Indivisible.org, CT Indivisible, Indivisible Middlesex CT, 50501, Leaving MAGA, Braver Angels, and other groups. We call for a better Democracy that works for everyone.
We protest fascism actively by peaceful means: boycotts, marches, sit-ins, letter writing, phone calls, and speaking out at board of education and town and city council meetings.
We welcome all who believe in science, democracy, and the rule of one law for all.
We welcome LGBTQIA+, cis-male/female, all races, colors & creeds. We are free to join. We welcome your donations to help us cover our subscription ($200) and operational costs. Please consider chipping in what you can. It helps with postage, sound equipment, speakers' fees, banners, memberships, and more.

Leaving MAGA Online Support Group
·OnlineOnlineLink
Copied from the Leaving MAGA website:
Solutions & Serenity is a structured, facilitated group for people whose close relationships have been disrupted by MAGA or extremist ideology.
Participants learn:- How extremist movements shape behavior, communication, and relationship dynamics
- How common responses like arguing, pleading, over-explaining, cutting off without clarity often backfire
- How to disengage from outrage cycles without surrendering values
- How to set boundaries that are firm, humane, and enforceable
- How to interact in ways that reduce escalation rather than reward it
- How to interact in ways that may aid in the MAGA affiliated loved one’s breaking with their affiliation.
This group teaches best practices for relating to a MAGA-affected loved one — practices grounded in psychology, neuroscience, nonviolence, and real-world experience, not wishful thinking.
You cannot control whether someone leaves an extremist identity. But you can learn how not to strengthen their entrenchment, and how to stop losing yourself in the process.## Why Nonviolence Matters Here
This group is grounded in nonviolence as a transformational discipline. Nonviolence, as practiced here, means:
- refusing to mirror domination, humiliation, or coercion
- holding boundaries without cruelty
- withdrawing energy from destructive dynamics without disappearing
- remaining human in environments that reward dehumanization
This approach protects you — and it creates conditions where change is possible, even if not guaranteed.
