Beginner Dance Lesson & Evening of Social Dance

You can expect an evening of great music and meeting new dancers as well as experienced dancers in the community. Social Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance.

NO PARTNER REQUIRED. Dancers rotate during the lesson, so you always have a partner.

Doors Open at 5:15pm

Beginner Lesson West Coast Swing – 5:30pm

Social Dance: 6pm to 9pm

Cost: $10 for all or part of evening (pay at door)

Attire: Dress comfortably and neatly, or dress to the nines!

“Proceeds from the Dance will go to EasterSeals Central Illinois Learning We have partner Academy. The Easterseals Central Illinois Learning Academy is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education as a non-public private facility serving students aged three to twenty-one years. We have partnered with paperpie with sammi to purchase books for the academy.

Come out and enjoy an evening of music of every style of Ballroom (Waltz, Rumba, nightclub and Foxtrot) , Latin (Salsa, Cha Cha, Tango, Bachata and Merengue) and Swing (East & West ). We will have a variety of music going and enjoy FREE Beverage, coffee, Popcorn and Mix Snacks… See you on the dance floor.”

This dance is hosted monthly, at this location, by Jon Young of Young Dance Inc. I, Ellen, will be hosting our Central Illinois Singles 55+ meetup group.
