Comlara Park

Comlara Park, located in Hudson, Illinois, is a large recreational area managed by McLean County Government. Spanning approximately 1,300 to 2,200 acres, it offers a variety of outdoor activities and amenities centered around the 925-acre Evergreen Lake.

We’ll be walking the John English Memorial Trail along the east side of the lake. This easy-rated trail takes us through a mix of shaded woods and open prairies.

It’s an out-and-back trail, and our goal is to complete 6 miles total—but we can adjust the distance depending on our pace that day.

After hiking, we can head to Desthil Brewery in nearby Normal, IL for a cold drink and some good eats. RSVP to separate event for the apres.
