East Lick Creek Preserve Trail is a slightly hilly (or as hilly as you can get around here) wooded trail between Springfield and Chatham. Popular with hikers and mountain bikers, it winds through mature forest alongside Lake Springfield. I plan to cut up onto the Interurban Trail for a mile or so, crossing the Lake Springfield bridge, almost to the Polecat Creek Trail, then retrace our path. Peaceful shady woodland paths while in the preserve, then nice views of the lake along the Interurban.
