AI-assisted development has come a long way from simple autocomplete, but most developers are only scratching the surface of what's possible today. Join us as Kyle Hoehns demonstrates how modern AI development tools have evolved from helpful coding assistants into capable agents that can help build complete features with minimal human intervention. Drawing from more than a year of daily use on real client projects, Kyle will share his insights into how these tools fit into modern software development workflows.

This session is completely hands-on. Starting with an empty project, Kyle will build a real REST API feature live using tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. Along the way, you'll see how AI agents can assist with implementation, testing, iteration, and feature development while still keeping developers in control of the process.
