What we’re about
Hello and welcome central New Jersey Brazilian Zouk dancers! This is Kevin and I own South Street Salsa, a latin dance studio and community of Zouk, bachata and salsa dancers. The goal of this group is to host a free Zouk lesson every month (see our events) to let people try Brazilian Zouk! This dance is so much fun and easier to learn than you think. Our monthly event is totally free so please feel free to bring friends or family with you to try out Zouk dancing.
All our events are in-person. If you're interested in getting out there and dancing in New Jersey, come join our group!

Free Zouk Lesson (Monthly)

This event will take place every first Sunday of the month unless otherwise stated. Please feel free and encouraged to bring friends and family to spend a Sunday full of music, dance, and joy with us. I provide complimentary refreshments, but they go fast—so try to come early if possible.
✨ What is Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a flowing, connected partner dance known for its smooth body movements, head movement, and unique musicality. It combines elements of rhythm, creativity, and expression, making it both beginner-friendly and endlessly versatile. Whether you’ve danced other Latin styles or are stepping onto the floor for the first time, Zouk offers a beautiful way to move, connect, and express yourself through music.📍 Finding the Studio:
When arriving look for the Dunkin Donuts sign and turn in between the pharmacy and the Dunkin/Italian Restaurant Francesco’s. We are the 4th business down after Touch Hair Salon.
If you’re in the Wells Fargo/Pharmacy parking lot, you’re in the right spot. If you’re in the Church parking lot, you’re behind our main entrance.
