Hello and welcome central New Jersey salsa and bachata dancers! This is Kevin and I own South Street Salsa, a latin dance studio and community of bachata and salsa dancers. The goal of this group is to host a free bachata and free salsa lesson every month (see our events). These dances are so much fun and easier to learn than you think. Our monthly event is totally free so please feel free to bring friends or family with you to try out bachata and salsa dancing. We also have a monthly party for more advanced dancers if you're interested!
All these events are in-person. If you're interested in getting out there and dancing in New Jersey, come join our group!

Due to the success of our monthly free dance class events, we’re opening a new monthly event in Marlboro NJ! We will be renting from Metro Dance Studio this time, which is a place close to my heart (I used to rent from them to teach my classes in Marlboro before opening our studio in Milltown ❤️).Schedule:

Salsa Level 1 - 8:00pm
Bachata Level 1 - 9:00pmRemember, these lessons are for beginners so it’s the perfect chance to get out and try something new, especially if there aren't spots in our other events due to space restrictions. This Marlboro studio is significantly bigger than our studio in Milltown so we have plenty of space for a big gathering!
Please join us, and if you’re ready to take more lessons we’ll also be teaching every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Metro Dance Studio!
