Soliworks Simulation "Meshing" presentation

Join us for our first Central KY Solidworks in person meeting in over 2 years! Bill Reuss with GoEngineer will be presenting on Simulation "Meshing". A subject that he has a very in-depth knowledge of!

We will start off by looking at the three main forms of geometry, Bulky, Thin, and Beam and discuss the best element types for each, with several examples shown. Next is Draft Quality vs High Quality meshes and why SOLIDWORKS Simulation has both. Mixed quality and mixed meshing, with examples, will be included. An explanation of the three different meshing algorithms - Standard, Curvature, and Blended Curvature – with comparisons of mesh size and solution results is next. Last, we will discuss convergence and explain why this is important for accuracy with Finite Element Analysis.
