Welcome to the Central London Badminton Academy Meetup group! We are a community of badminton enthusiasts who love playing doubles badminton in the heart of London. If you're a beginner looking to improve your skills, this is the perfect place for you. Join us for friendly matches and social events. Let's have fun and improve our game together!
We will play with plastic shuttles and have a fun enjoyable social session. Session fee wil be £10 (for a two hour session)
# Newbie: First-time players with little to no experience.
# Beginner: Can consistently hit the shuttle, understand basic shots like clears and lifts, and maintain a rally.
# Improver+: Can perform clears and lifts with some confidence, and are starting to learn and execute smashes, nets, and drops with some accuracy
All the above levels are acceptable.
If you don't have a racket then you can borrow from us/ sports centre. There may be a small fee.
Sessions will take place in central london locations, at the moment we are checking the best time slots available. Please register and we will upload sessions shortly.
We will also look at introducing training sessions too.
