To coincide with World Earth Day, Central London Humanists welcomes Jamie Woodhouse to put forward the case for Sentientism - a philosophy of evidence, reason and compassion for all sentient beings.

Jamie is working to develop Sentientism as a worldview and as a global movement. He hosts the Sentientism Podcast and YouTube and has published articles and presented academic seminars on the Sentientism philosophy and its implications. Before the talk we'll be there to mingle and enjoy refreshments from our charity snack bar. All profits from the (vegan) wine & snack bar will be donated to Animal Advocacy Africa a charity dedicated to strengthening capacities and effectiveness of African animal advocacy organisations that are reducing animal suffering, particularly that of farmed animals.
