Elle Hardy, journalist and author of Beyond Belief: How Pentecostal Christianity is Taking Over the World, joins Central London Humanists for an in person talk and discussion about her fascinating new book.

Elle Hardy is a journalist and foreign correspondent who has reported from the United States, the former USSR and North Korea, among a long list of places. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The New Republic, GQ and Business Insider.

In this talk, Elle will discuss how Pentecostal Christianity became the fastest growing religion in the world and why a movement, started by the son of freed slaves in Los Angeles in 1906, is on track to have one billion followers, or one in ten people on earth, by 2050.
