"Hari Singh is Cyber Security Manager for the University of London (and one of our members). This evening is a 'must' for anyone concerned about staying safe online.
As Hari says: "We live in a click-happy world. We click links, open attachments, scan QR codes and tap buttons without always stopping to ask one simple question: “Do I know where this is taking me?” In this talk, we’ll take a closer look at those mysterious, long and convoluted website links that turn up in our emails and messaging apps. I’ll show you how to read them, what to look out for, and how a few simple checks can help you spot a scam before you click. I’ll also share some other tips on how to stay safe online".
