Spanish/English conversation group Baker Street

'Spanish/English conversation group in Central London' is a relaxed couple of hours where you can practise your Spanish and/or English language skills with friendly people in a Central London restaurant/bar.

THIS EVENT IS FREE ENTRY - SUPPORT OUR HOST VENUE AND BUY FOOD AND/OR DRINKS

Commencing at 6pm on the final Monday of each month, we meet upstairs at The Veg Box Cafe located at 136 Marylebone Rd, London NW1 5PH. Just one minute walking from Baker Street Underground station or two minutes walking from Marylebone station!

7pm-9pm Spanish conversation

All proficiency levels welcome, but please note your hosts are not teachers. A basic level of each language will be necessary to get the most out of the group.

Our host venue has a delicious menu plus a bar stocked with cocktails, mocktails, soft drink, beer, wine, and fizz.

Start thinking about topics you would like to chat about. Some examples:

- where you have lived during your life

- your favourite cities to visit and why

- music and movies you like

- describe your family

- your London neighbourhood

- where you have studied Spanish/English

Come along to the restaurant, head upstairs (13 steps/no lift), and make some friends!

Extra note: this group, and our host venue, is a safe space for LGBTQ+ community members and allies. Everyone is welcome. The venue is 100% vegan.
