CNY Trackers Club Introductory Meetup

Join the Central New York Tracking and Nature Awareness Club for our inaugural monthly meetup dedicated to identifying and interpreting animal tracks and sign in Central New York. The meetup will start with a brief time in an old farmhouse getting to know each other, developing a master list of species in our area and setting up a notebook or journal. We will then head out in the field to locate wildlife sign and to practice identification and interpretation. This event is for all experience levels and learning happens as a result of the group participating in gathering evidence and sharing ideas. (Moderate activity is required on uneven ground.)
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a notebook and pencil. If you have an appropriate field guide, feel free to bring it. I will have extra journals and field guides available to use, so don't rush out and buy anything that you don't already have.
