Details

60 min intermediate ride. Small, shady, woodland county park. Not at all brushy. Singletrack here is generally broad. Corners are mostly long radius and fast. Several moderate slopes. Rock-free; some roots (not many). Surface is generally hard-packed sand, but can be loose at the outer parts of corners located on slopes. Near the center of the park there is a straight, narrow gully with a slight slope and several 6-12" drops. Fun little downhill. The entire trail network is only about 7 miles. Terrain is suitable for athletic beginners.

Pace determined by the group. We'll stop at some of the junctions and briefly break at the top of a couple of the ascents. At least 4 of the connectors will be repeated, and a few will be skipped.

Adults only. Intermediate level. No-drop; with breaks for recovery and regrouping, but riders should be prepared for some high intensity segments. Mountain bike and helmet required. Remember to also bring: water, snacks, tick repellent, spare tube. Please, no broadcasting of music, nor riding with pets. Porta-john in the parking area.

Rain forecast can cause cancellation or rescheduling. Check for updates before leaving home. If you know you're running late, then post at this web page before the meetup time, as there is cellular internet at the parking lot, to check for latecomers.
