### What Is Our Response to Violence? A Conversation with David Lapp
Violence is in the news and in our communities — political violence, gun violence, and the quieter violence of contempt and fear. How can we respond without giving in to anger, despair, and dehumanizing one another?
Join David Lapp, co-founder of Braver Angels, a national nonprofit that brings conservatives, liberals, and independents together for respectful dialogue. David, who brings a conservative voice to this work, will lead us in exploring how people of different beliefs can stand together for peace, dignity, and understanding.
All viewpoints are welcome. We do not try to change one another's minds but rather to listen, think deeply, and share our own perspective in a spirit of curiosity and respect.
About the speaker: David Lapp is a writer and community builder based in Ohio. He co-founded Braver Angels after years of research on marriage, family, and social trust in working-class America.
