The Adaptive Sports Connection (ASC) helps veterans, children, and adults who need adaptive equipment or instruction to participate in sports. Join Adaptive Sports Connection as a winter sports (ski/snowboard) volunteer! Volunteers of all abilities are needed! ASC provides free lift tickets and rentals to volunteers.

Register here on the COUNT Meetup event and also on the ASC web site for Snow Trails (ST) Volunteers for the appropriate date: https://adaptivesportsconnection.org/volunteer/current-volunteer-opportunities/

Tentative schedules have lessons January to March on Saturdays and Wednesdays at Snow Trails (ST) and Sundays at Mad River Mountain (MRM). COUNT/ASC volunteers usually work at ST on Saturdays and Wednesdays but can also schedule to volunteer on other days and at MRM. Please let Dave know the date, location (ST or MRM) and number of hours for these so we can include in our stats.

ASC Event Description:
This focused on-snow training day builds on the momentum from the kickoff weekend. Volunteers will head back to the slopes for hands-on skill refinement, safety refreshers, and adaptive equipment practice following the PSIA-AASI athlete-centered model focused on Veteran Engagement. Expect an active training session that sharpens technique, reinforces teamwork, and prepares you to support athletes with confidence.
