What we’re about

Meetup opportunities will all be related to wild plants and ethnobotany. We will meet on public lands and in community meeting spaces, or sometimes at volunteer’s private residences. Events may include any of the following: plant walks, plant based weaving circles, foraging, folk medicine and personal care products, wild plant crafts. Open to other ideas! Please keep your RSVPs updated to be courteous to folks on the waitlist.

We'll go on a leisurely stroll, not much further than a mile or so, and see what's happening with the plants. ID, historical uses, medicinal and edibles notes, and Other ethnobotanical notes will be our focus.

I love plants + people and how we've connected over the millennia. So, our walk will reflect that. We'll identify what we find and look up any plant mysteries. We'll talk about historic and modern uses of the plants we find.

Bring water if you like. Rain or shine but if weather is really gross we will reschedule!!
