The Painted Hills ~ an Oregon must see-must do!

Road Trip!

The Painted Hills Unit is one of the 7 wonders in Oregon. When you travel there, you can see millions of years of history revealed in the layers of mountains of the earth, one color at a time. A journey to the hills is a journey through ancient and recent history.

What to bring? Water, snacks.

Afterward, it's a short drive to Mitchell, pop. 150. There we'll stop for lunch and refreshments at Tiger Town Brewing Company, to be followed by a mosey up the street to the mercantile for a foray into the ice cream freezer. Optional of course, but you watch me...

I need 1 or 2 drivers to volunteer their vehicles. Everyone pitches in $5-10 for gas.
