Meet and Greet #1

Lots of new members! To that, lets have a meet and greet at Alpenglow Park.

We meet at the Demonstration Garden, at the picnic tables. They might be full when we arrive. Good ideal to stask a camp or backpacking chair in your vehicle.

"X" marks the spot.

Bring your Garmin device if you have one, especially if you signed up for a scheduled backpacking adventure. What else? I suppose water, a snack and a BYOB (I won't be checking).

On the agenda (please bring a pen and notepad): The 10 Essentials*, the difficulty of upcoming backpacking adventures, and who should or shouldn't sign up, suggested gear, UL, leading hikes, and input.

You may bring a guest if that guest is also a dayhiker or backpacker. They need not join the group this time.
