CPAU Attends the prison board meeting!

Attend the next monthly meeting of the Prison Board of Inspectors to show your support for providing outdoor recreation for our community members inside so that they can start their path of rehabilitation, not punishment. You can also offer a public comment at the start to let the Prison Board know why this issue is important to you and make sure your voice is heard! These meetings take place the second Thursday of each month at 8am. If you would like to attend virtually, please sign up, and we will contact you to provide more information.

CCCF has no outdoor recreation, even though it's the law (Pa Code: § 95.238. Recreation). We firmly believe that Centre County should take the lead within the Pennsylvania prison system by shifting towards a rehabilitation-focused approach that prioritizes the physical and mental well-being of returning citizens. This crucial step will enable our fellow community members to reintegrate into society successfully.
