Ramble Ruckers
This group’s focus is rucking — walking or hiking with a weighted backpack to build strength, endurance, and mental fortitude. It’s a simple but highly effective form of fitness training that combines the benefits of cardio and resistance work in one.
Whether you’re an experienced rucker or new to the activity and looking to add it to your fitness routine, you’re welcome to join — provided you can sustain a brisk 3–4 mph pace over uneven terrain with moderate elevation changes.
Each session begins near one of the entrances to The Ramble in Central Park, where we’ll follow its winding paths and scenic hills for a challenging and rewarding workout.
Sessions are totally free, led by an experienced trainer and rucker, and focused on safe, science-based conditioning. Times are to be determined but will likely be early weekday mornings.
