The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli

Greetings Classic Lit Book Club Members -- It's been way too long. Testing the waters again concerning a re-launch of the book club, probably a quarterly meeting going forward for now. Normally, as in the past, we'd focus on the Classic Lit lists cited in the "About" section. However, for the next meeting, I'd like to gauge your interest in reading The Prince by the 16th-century political philosopher and theorist Niccolò Machiavelli, particularly as it should provide some insight into current socio-political movements we're witnessing across the US. We will not support polarizing political debate at this meeting, just focus on how what Machiavelli wrote may be reflected in today's political trends. Let me know if interested by signing up. The meeting location will be near the Civic Center in SF at a public location, most likely a bookstore meeting space.
