Board Games @ North Village/John Gillum

Come join us for nearly 5 hours of board gaming, starting at 12:00 at North Village (now John Gillum) library in Central Northwest Austin. We got bumped from our usual first-Saturday slot, so we snagged this date instead... and made it longer!

We are a friendly and inclusive group—everyone welcome. NEWBIES WELCOME--we will be happy to teach you to play.

A noon start time for this meetup means we'll have plenty of time to play at least two games each. We might even get in three if we start on time. It also means that we can have tables with heavier, more complex games that run long.
There will always be Catan, but we play other games as well. Recent plays include: Harmonies, Sanctuary, Azul, SETI, Cascadia, Wingspan, Camel Up, and The Gang.

We will meet at the former North Village (now John Gillum) branch of the Austin Public Library, in NW Austin just off Steck and Burnet. Plenty of free parking. Walk in and look on the right-hand side, before the circulation desk, for the meeting room. We'll start at 12:00pm and play till the library closes (hard stop at 4:45). See you there!

PS: If you can't make it at noon, try showing up around 2ish, when the fastest gamers will be done with their first one and ready to start a second round.
