There have been a lot of improvements and neat features added to document templates over the years. After you first set up your templates it’s easy to forget about them – that’s the great thing about document templates for Parts & Assemblies. But it also means that it’s on us to revisit them every few years to be sure we aren’t missing out on anything that could help us work better in SOLIDWORKS. In addition to the obvious document properties, during this presentation we’ll be talking about things in the feature tree, in configuration properties, in lights, etc. that are also part of the templates that can make us more productive and prevent errors. We’ll also be opening the floor for everybody to share what they have in their templates that they can’t live without!
