Using Art & Music in (LS) Punctuation #?*!

When we write, punctuation promotes clarity. Reinforces tone. Creates a pause, a space to breathe.

In Liberating Structures (LS), "punctuation" does the same thing. These brief, less formal practices can preinforce or reinforce — in other words, punctuate — the more formal structures.

In this 90-minute session, we'll explore ways to use punctuation in LS strings, and will explore and analyze different ways to use art and music as punctuation, to create and shift energy in sessions using Liberating Structures.

This session is facilitated by Ann Blocker and Lynda Frost. Structures and punctuation used in this session will be announced before the event.

Everyone is welcome at this Liberating Structures event, regardless of location or familiarity with LS — all you need to bring is a sense of play, your curiosity, and some paper and things to write with!
