Central Valley Filmmakers: Screenwriters' Meet-Up

Please join us at The Queen Bean Coffee & Social House for a chance to meet-up with others that share an interest in the art of screenwriting! We will begin the night with a round table discussion about participants' current projects, the creative process, and group exercises. This will be followed by free writing time where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, or put in a couple of hours on that screenplay you've always wanted to write.

You are encouraged to bring a story to discuss, some pages to read, or any questions you may have about the screenwriting process. This is a casual event where participants may contribute as much or as little as desired, and a low pressure space for deep creative discussion with peers of all skill levels.

Drinks and food will be available for purchase from our wonderful new location, The Queen Bean Coffee & Social House!

NOTE: These meetings are CONFIDENTIAL and all attendees are asked not to share information about others' stories outside of the group. It is recommended to have your work copyrighted and/or registered with the WGA before sharing it with anyone. Work can only be copyrighted if you have a draft, outline, or something concrete written down/recorded.
