Writer's Meetup

Screenwriters and aspiring screenwriters can gather to talk about their scripts, read pages, and have in-depth discussions on topics like theme and character development. While the group can offer help on some technical aspects like screenplay formatting, these meetings are designed to be more creative and focused on the individual stories, themes and characters each writer is developing. You're welcome to bring a story to discuss or up to five script pages to read, or if you don't have a project of your own you want to discuss yet, you can just come and listen and contribute to the conversation as much or as little as you'd like. This is not a class, but a casual venue for deep creative discussion and exploration. Drinks and food can be ordered from the bar and enjoyed during the meeting!

NOTE: These meetings are confidential and all attendees are asked not to share information about others' stories outside of the group. However, it is still recommended to have your work copyrighted and/or registered with the WGA before sharing it with anyone.
