Open Source GIS Server Setup
Details
For this meeting, we'll be downloading and installing VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/), and going though a guided setup of PostGIS and GeoServer, followed by establishing a connection from QGIS and DBeaver Database Manager. If we have time, we'll also deploy a Samba server to house GIS assets (like highway shield files).
An .ova file is available for those who want a pre-configured server for future sessions, or to apply to use with other hypervisors, please reach out to me if this is the case.
