Join us for a message of hope and possibilities! Learn from local sustainability advocate Helen Lovell-Wayne about choices you can make that promote sustainability, such as:
- Bug spray made from grapefruit peels, which is as effective as DEET.
- The advantages of drinking plant-based milk.
- How each person can make a difference in the lives of monarch butterflies by planting milkweed.
Helen Lovell-Wayne regularly publishes sustainability articles on her blog, which is growing in popularity online. She has BA from Mills College in Environmental Studies and an MS in Biology from Georgia Southern. Additionally, Helen has published several peer-reviewed papers on Florida birds and won state and national sustainability awards during her tenure with the state of Florida.
Room opens at 6:45 for socializing or gathering. Program begins at 7 pm.

All programs are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Programs are held from 7 - 9:00 pm. A brief discussion of environmental issues precedes the program along with information on upcoming outings and events.
