What we're about
Our Vision: "Pioneering hope and wellness through shared journeys."
Our mission: "The Central Mass Recovery Learning Community supports self-determined paths of recovery. Through assertive outreach, we connect with a diverse network of people, who share the experience of emotional extreme states that interfere with wellness. We accept each other, as individuals, while inspiring mutual empowerment and self-advocacy."
The Central Mass RLC covers all of central Mass, which is a large area of Massachusetts. We are quickly expanding our community meetings and we hope this site will share the word with people who are unable to make it to meetings at our headquarters. We are headquartered at 209 Shrewsbury St. in Worcester. We do have many groups there daily and the schedule is available both on our Facebook page (Central Massachusetts Recovery Learning Community) as well as on our website: www.centralmassrlc.org. If you are interested in participating in groups at the center, please come in or call 508-751-9600 for more information. This page is intended to publicize the groups available in the Community. As shared in our vision and mission statements, we believe that relationships are the center of what heal people who have experienced emotional or any other general life challenges. We are united by our shared experiences and "Humanness." Our stories, collective wisdom, and strength guide us and our community to wellness. Every single one of us is unique and may not have been exactly where you are, but we have been somewhere similar. So join us to share experiences and together we will be able to provide HELP, HOPE, and PEER SUPPORT to one another.
