Fall Lake group walk at Memorial Lake State Park

The word Fall in regard to the season came to be when early England shortened the phrase "Fall of the Leaf." This time marks the 3rd season of the year where deciduous trees begin to lose their leaves to preserve resources for winter. Join us as we complete the full 3-mile loop around Memorial Lake, taking in the change of the season and the attributes of fall, we have all come to know and love. Along the way we'll take a deeper look at what's happening in the trees that gives us a vibrant show of red, yellows, and oranges.
