PROTECTING BLASPHEMRS V

Details

Protecting Blasphemers is CFIC's annual panel discussion highlighting the most recent blasphemy issues of the year. We aim to discover the areas where the global secular community needs to do progress in terms of building support mechanisms to protect blasphemers running from persecution all around the world. Every year we pay our respects to a fellow activist we lost. This year’s event is in loving memory of Mahsa Amini and Armita Geravand - two young women who were violently killed after flouting Iran's hijab laws.

This year, we'll discuss the Mahsa Amini protests in Iran, and explore the backlash. Our panelists include:
Nuriyah Khan (ExMuslim YouTuber),
Veiled Rose (Representative of Faithless Hijabi),
Ryan Jayne (Senior Policy Counsel of the Freedom From Religion Foundation),
Leon Langdon (Advocacy Ofcer of Humanists Internatonal),
Aleem (Ex-Muslim YouTuber)
Your host is CFIC Human Rights Chair, Onur Romano.

Join us online, Sunday, Dec. 10th 4pm EST.
Admission is free; we invite our guests to make a donation to the CFIC Assistance for Apostates fund. (CFIC is a registered charity - tax receipts will be automatically provided for all donations of $25 or more).
