The Situation in Afghanistan: A personal perspective

Please join us to hear Afghan National Fika Taillon provide an historic perspective on living in Afghanistan, her story of leaving Afghanistan, her thoughts and feelings last summer, when, along with the rest of the world, she watched the Taliban take control and what the current situation is for people remaining in Afghanistan, as told through the eyes of her two young cousins.

Fika Taillon was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and has been in Canada for more than two decades. Fika is a published poet, artist, author and public speaker with background in political science and education.
