Buddhist meditation

What are we doing?
At 8:30 PM, we have a guided Buddhist meditation. The meditation lasts about 25 minutes and is accessible and beneficial for people of all experience levels. What is the Diamond Way? The Buddha gave instructions to three types of people. The first who wished to avoid suffering received teachings on Cause and Effect, called the Narrow Path (Hinayana). The second type of people felt the need to benefit others, so he gave them teachings on compassion and wisdom, called the Great Way (Mahayana). Finally, to people who had a strong confidence in their own potential and that of others, the Buddha explained teachings of the Diamond Way (Vajrayana). At this level, we use methods of identification with the goal and act as a Buddha until we become like him. At the highest level, the goal is the complete development of the mind, which he called the Great Seal (Mahamudra). Who are we? The Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Malaga is part of the more than 700 meditation centers internationally of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. These centers have been founded and guided by Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah Nydahl, in accordance with the wishes of H. H. XVI Karmapa. They are now under the spiritual guidance of H.H. XVII Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje. Our center is made up of individuals who have their own jobs and incorporate the teachings and meditations of the Diamond Way into their daily lives. Our members share the responsibility of guiding meditations, answering questions, and explaining Buddhism. Our work is unpaid and is based on idealism and friendship. We hold weekly meditation nights, which are open to the public and free of charge. There is a relaxed social atmosphere, and questions are encouraged. Meditations are guided in Spanish, allowing space, clarity, and joy to arise naturally. Other activities include talks, teachings, and personal practice. For those who want more information about the center: Whatsapp 695 551 758.

"Please arrive 10 minutes before the meditation begins."
