Let us introduce you to this fun and exciting sport. Our members practice and train in Rhode Island on the Providence River in preparation for races throughout the New England area and beyond.
If you enjoy being out on the water and getting a great workout, you'll love dragon boat racing. You'll meet fun, easy going and like minded people from different backgrounds and all ages.
What you have no experience!! No Problem, we'll teach you everything you need to know. We are open to everyone and their skill levels. We'll make you a bad ass dragon boater, we have the technology...

"Bring a chair and join the thousands of people who attend each year for great entertainment, exciting competition, family-fun, and a prime opportunity to learn more about Chinese and Taiwanese cultures!!!The Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival is an extraordinary event for the whole family to enjoy! Our races continue to use the fiberglass Taiwanese-style dragon boats gifted to us from the Republic of China (Taiwan) and incorporate the skill of flag-catching in each race. Plus, the races are broken into different divisions…so they’re great for both club teams looking for a challenge, and amateur/corporate teams looking to do team-building with their employees and promote their business in a fun and unique way.
But that’s not all… the Taiwan Day Festival presents some top-notch entertainment! The day has cultural performances, many art & crafts tables, and the always-popular dumpling eating contests. The festival also has a great selection of vendors, interactive activities, and food trucks!"
