Call in the Winter Solstice with an afternoon of mindful ceramics, poetry, and connection.
In this workshop, we'll slow down together to honour the turning of the season with guided writing, reflection, and clay work in a warm, grounding space.
We'll begin with a gentle, meditative free-flow poetry practice guided by the winter solstice — setting intentions and exploring the cycles of the seasons through language and imagery.
These words and reflections will guide the creation of your own handbuilt clay vessel, formed using accessible techniques and intuitive, organic shapes.
You'll then have the opportunity to add poetic lines, marks, or symbolic designs to your piece guided by your own creative vision, before choosing a glaze. After the workshop, I'll complete the firing and glazing process in my studio, and your finished vessel will be ready to collect within two weeks.
