2024 Solar Eclipse Ceremony

Celestial events are powerful times.

For me, they are times where I feel my connection most deeply with all of time and the universe. They are time of reverence, introspection and sacredness.

Humans have experienced eclipses since we became human --for THOUSANDS of years-- and that experience created many myths and traditions around what they mean and how to live through them.

Many traditions have stories about the sun being devoured by scary beasts or the moon herself and knowing how important the sun is to life -- this could be a scary time.

Other traditions talk about a solar eclipse as the end of times. And yet, others see the return of full sunlight as a time of hope.

For me, I see this as a potent time of transformation. And 'end' of sorts of one time and the beginning of another. It is a powerful moment of celestial alignment for those of us standing in a spot directly in that line. To me, it is a time of reflection and an inner journey to attune to what chapters (or epics) are ending and preparation for the transformation into the next iteration of being.

With that in mind, I welcome any who would like to join in a community ceremony here on the land at Crown Hill Farm. Gather to receive the wisdom and guidance from this potent moment -- for your personal journey and for our collective community.

Eight of us women will journey to the Grandmothers of the 8 Directions in Shamanic Journey Ceremony to bring wisdom back for all to receive. This is what this journey and council is about -- to be in service to our community through relationship to the Grandmothers and their teaching.
