Let's try something new with our dinner this evening...a side of Southern Fried Murder!

This novel has been a hit with book clubs everywhere for the past year or so, and it's gaining even more steam with the release of the movie version this July. There's always room on our reading list for a juicy who-dunnit, so we're heading to the marshes for this one in September!

This book is running around $7 on most of the used book sites, which is not as low as some we've done, but you can get the audio version at no charge from several sites online, including [Soundcloud.com](https://soundcloud.com/penguin-audio/where-the-crawdads-sing-by) or from Jenae Reads on YouTube. It's also available for free with a trial from Audible.com. And don't forget your local library! (You can also "cheat" and check out the movie - we'll most likely be discussing how the two versions of the story compare as well!)
