Let's Meetup and Watch "The Long Walk" at AMC Disney Springs!

Last year, we read "The Long Walk" by Richard Bachman, AKA Stephen King. Hollywood was kind enough to offer us the movie version as well, so let's take advantage of the opportunity and check it out!

Join us at AMC Theaters in Disney Springs on Wednesday, September 24. AMC has two entrances in Disney Springs. One faces Planet Hollywood, the other faces the Splitsville Bowling Alley and Summerhouse Restaurant. We'll meet in the lobby on the Planet Hollywood side at 6:30pm for the 7:00pm movie, which will allow time for bathroom breaks and grabbing snacks (or even a full dinner) before the show. It is smart to park in the Orange Parking Garage, as it is very close to the cinema and the parking is free!

Wednesdays are Bargain Nights for all AMC Stubs members, so you can buy a reduced-price ticket if you have or set up a FREE AMC Stubs account on their site before booking your ticket.

The theater is a comfortable Dine-In theater with heated recliner seats and tray tables to hold your snacks and drinks. These are popular accommodations, and it is not unusual for the shows to sell out in advance. Lucky for us, the movie will have been playing for a couple of weeks by this time, so the initial rush of movie-goers may have passed.

I have booked tickets for myself and a guest in seats E7 and E8. Please select your seat in this general area if possible. If not, choose any open seat - the theater is small. Please post which seat you have chosen here in the Comments so we can book near each other whenever possible.
