Black Deconstruction Bible Study Group

The black church in America has been a staple in the fight for social justice, equality, and women's rights. But in recent years, the black church has become riddled with Toxic positivity, obsessed with wealth, and simulating to Christian Supremacy in some cases.

Deconstructing is a faith movement where religious traditions, doctrine, and beliefs are challenged and Reimagined.

This group will question and rethink their American Christian faith through the lens of Other faiths, Economics, Classism, racism, sexism, capitalism, history, etc. This will be a community that will prioritize moral principles over religious traditions, experience over doctrines, and action over beliefs.

So if you have some questions or doubts, wrestling with contradictions, find a new way to love your neighbor or follow God this might be the place for you.
