There are so many opportunities to explore the history, daily adventures, activities, tours, and exhibitions during 10a to 5p. Special demonstrations on 6/24 include pottery and blacksmith. You can spend the whole day or less for one general admission price. Optional activities are horseback riding for $15, bike rentals $10 per 4 hours, and horse drawn wagon rides for $10. For hiking the 30 miles of available trails, no admission fee is required, but $10 per car is suggested for donation. Music On the Lawn is free, starts at 6:30 pm with indie
band Lylak on this day; suggest you bring a lawn chair. See website for admission prices, scheduled activities, details on meals at the restaurant or outdoor dining weather permitting, pet guidelines and etiquette. Drinks and beverage menus are available outside, along with marshmallow roast and kids’ games. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. A small cooler with food and non-alcoholic beverages is allowed during Music on the Lawn. For those wanting to walk the trails, plan to meet at 4:30p at the Welcome Center.
