The Bible 101—What do we know about when it was written, who wrote it, who was the audience, and what is the message? The Bible is the most influential book in western history. How people answered these questions have had a massive impact on people’s lives for thousands of years.
Sean O’Brien was at one time a born-again -Christian and worked for Campus Crusade for Christ. He began to question his faith which led him to a lifetime passion for studying religion from a skeptical point of view.
He joined Humanist Friendship of Central Indiana (which is now CFI Indiana) shortly after it began in 1999 and lead a monthly discussion for several years. Sean now lives in Illinois. So, leading an in-person discussion in Indianapolis is not feasible.
