Show We Matter by Showing We Care - Volunteer at ReStore on May 22

"Show We Matter by Showing We Care" is turning into an ongoing hit. Take part this month on Thursday, June 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 610 NE 181st Ave. in Gresham.
Contribute your time and talent stocking shelves, sorting donated items, hanging clothing, and helping in the boutique. We will be meeting later this month. Please note the change.

If you haven’t been to a ReStore, you’re in for a treat. ReStore sells donated home goods and building supplies to fund affordable housing throughout the Portland Metropolitan Area. You’ll help recycle family donations into another life in a new home and save tons of items from going into landfills. And you’ll be supporting Habitat for Humanity, a Charity Navigator four-star nonprofit organization.

Everyone 16 and older is invited to participate. Please RSVP here on Meetup. We will also have sign-up forms available at ReStore the day of the event. Everyone will need to sign forms to attend this event.

Gloves and safety vests are provided.

The Max Blue line is a short, two-block walk from the store. There’s also ample free parking available. After the work event we head to Migration for conversation and refreshments.
